♥Violet Face Lotion:
Simply simmer some violet flowers in a little milk(1-1/2cup) for a few minutes, then let it cool down, and you'll have a very skin softening facial lotion.
♥Natural Skin Conditioner:
~1 oz.of lemon grass
~1 oz. of cornmeal
~1 oz. of witch hazel
~1 oz. of rose petals
Blend all of the ingredients listed above together into a pot with 1 quart of boiling water and allow the mixture to steep for 20 minutes. After steeping then strain the mixture into your bath water and soak in the tub for at least 10 minutes. Use this skin conditioning mixture 2 times a week and your skin will be as smooth as ever.
♥Hair Care Tip For Blonde Swimmers:
If your a blonde who likes swimming but hates that your hair turns green, this tip is for you.
~2 Tablespoons of baking soda
~1/4 of a cup of lemon juice
~1 teaspoon of mild shampoo
Mix all the ingredients together, then wet your hair and massage into your hair and scalp. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave this mixture on for 30 minutes then rinse out and shampoo as usual.
♥The Natural Blemish Treatment:
~1 cup of water
~1/4 cup of parsley
~1 tablespoon of mint leaves
~1/4 cup of watercress
~3 medium sized carrots peeled and chopped
~1 egg white
Gather the first 4 ingredients and bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer for 30 minutes and remove from heat to let the mixture cool. Blend the mixture for 1 minute in a blender and apply to your face. Leave this mix on your face for up to 20 minutes and rinse it off with warm water. Place the mix in the fridge and it will last up to 3 days. This is a great natural way to help control and get rid of acne.
♥How To Make Your Nose Appear Smaller:
Just brush a small amount of light powder down the center of your nose & this will make your nose appear thinner.
Note: Use the next lightest shade to the color you wear all over your face for the center of your nose.
♥When you spray on a perfume right after you get out of the shower the scent will last a lot longer than normal. This is because perfume absorbs better on damp skin rather than on dry skin.
♥Apple Facial Mask:
~1 medium apple(grated)
~1 medium mixing bowl
~1 spoon
~5 tablespoons of honey
This mask is fantastic for oily and acne prone skin. Just mix the ingredients & smooth over your, keep it on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with cool water. Your skin will be sure to thank you.
♥Tips To Get Stronger Nails:
Increase the amount of calcium you have daily. Use alcohol based products sparingly(perfumed lotions,nail polish remover etc). Wear rubber gloves when doing dishes & any activities that involve chemicals.
♥Homemade Makeup Brush Cleanser:
~1/4 of a cup of rubbing alcohol
~1/4 of a cup of water
~2 tablespoons of baby shampoo
~2 tablespoons of conditioner
~small plastic container
In a small plastic container add all of your ingredients and shake them up. When it comes time to clean your brushes shake the container, put some either directly onto your brushes or on a rag and wipe onto your brushes until clean. finish the cleansing process by rinsing in water for a minute and wiping off the excess water. Before drying don't forget to shape the bristles otherwise when they dry they will have a weird formation.
♥The Quick Fix For Tight Shoes:
If you have a pair of shoes that are leather or even fake leather that need to be broken into or stretched out a bit, this trick is perfect for you. Just get two ziplock baggies and put water in both bags until they are 1/4 full. Then place them into your shoes, place the shoes into your freezer until frozen, and thaw for 20 minutes. This trick can stretch shoes up to a half a size or even a whole size larger.
♥Rice Water Toner:
~1/2 a cup of organic rice ( jasmine, bamboo, and black rice are all great options)
~Water
~Cotton pads
~A jar, bowl, and spoon
Get your bowl and fill it with half a cup of rice then fill the bowl with water so that about a inch of water covers the rice. Then stir the rice until it looks like the water is cloudy. Pour the water into a jar, put some on a cotton pad and smooth over face when you want to use the toner. This toner is full of lots of great nutrients and will soften your skin. Remember to place it in the fridge.
*Note*This will last 2 weeks.
♥Rice Cotton Mask:
~A paper towel
~Scissors
~Rice water toner (see recipe above)
Get your paper towel and cut three holes (2 for your eyes and 1 for your mouth) then cut a slit for your nose. Fold the paper towel and place in a bowl of rice water for about 10 minutes. Then place onto a clean face for 15 minutes. This mask not only is easy to make but also softens your skin and provides essential nutrients.
♥Brown Sugar Lemon Facial Scrub:
~The juice of 1/2 of a lemon
~4 tablespoons of brown sugar
~1/4 of a cup of oatmeal
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, then apply to face for about a minute in a circular motion. Finish by rinsing off with cold water.
♥The Tangerine Facial:
Tangerines are full of vitamin C, magnesium, vitamin B, beta-carotene and potassium. All of these ingredients are essential for rejuvenating the skin. Blend fresh tangerine juice and egg yolk.Then evenly distribute it on your face and leave on for about 25-30 minutes. Finish up by washing it off with cold water. This mask will cleanse your skin, leaving it smooth and rejuvenated.
♥Natural Color Enhancers:
If your hair color looks like it needs a pick me up use this great tip and you'll liven up your hair in a flash. Start by boiling one quart of water. Then in a piece of doubled cheesecloth, add the following:
~ A handful fresh rosemary sprigs (bruise by rubbing them in your hand) *for brunettes*
~ A handful of dried chamomile *for blondes*
~ A chopped-up carrot *for redheads with an orange tone*
~ A chopped up beet *for redheads with a berry tone*
Tie up the ingredient in the cheesecloth and place them into boiling water then remove the pan from the heat. Let it steep for 10 minutes. Then remove the cheesecloth bag. Shampoo and rinse your hair as usual. Pour the warm color enhancing rinse over your hair. As a final rinse, use a quart of cold water. To keep your hair color vibrant use this tip once a month.
♥The Quick fix for Oily Hair:
If your scalp is oily, you more than likely have to shampoo your hair daily to keep it from looking greasy. However, if you are running short on time, grab a box of cornstarch and a clean blush brush. Pour some cornstarch into a dish and dip the brush into it. Part your hair with a comb in the center and brush the cornstarch onto your scalp and roots. Make another part 1/4 to inch off-center and repeat. Continue this until you have covered your whole head or your oiliest hair spots. Leave it in for 10 minutes so the cornstarch soaks up the excess oils. After that simply take a brush and brush out your hair.
♥The Natural Lip Fix:
To make a great natural lip scrub all you need to use is 1-2 drops of olive oil and about a tablespoon of sugar. Then mix together, rub gently over your lips for about a minute, and rinse off. This is not only fabulous since it is made of ingredients everyone has in their household but also because it works wonders for ones lips. This will not only get rid of dead skin cells but also make your lips soft and smooth since oil is a natural moisturizer.

♥Orange Yogurt Mask:
~3 teaspoon of plain yogurt
~Juice of 1/2 of an orange
Mix together then dip fingers into mixture and smooth onto your face. Leave on for about 5 minutes and rinse off with cool water. This is a cool and relaxing facial treatment that will wake you up a bit plus nourish and cleanse your skin.
♥Minty Fresh Massage Oil:
~10 teaspoons of grape seed oil
~3 drops of eucalyptus oil
~4 drops of rosemary oil
~2 drops of peppermint oil
Blend ingredients well, pour into a small bottle, and seal well.
♥Carrot Facial Mask:
~2 or 3 large carrots
~4 1/2 tablespoons of honey
Cook the carrots, mash them up, and mix in the honey. Then apply gently to the skin, wait 10 minutes and rinse off with cool water.♥If you have frizzy hair and don't have any frizz fighting serum on hand just get a very small amount of lotion, rub between your hands and smooth through your hair.
♥To get a quick fix for your hands and nails warm up a cup of milk(in the microwave for about 30 seconds) then soak your hands in the milk for 5 minutes. This is great because it will hydrate your skin and strengthen your nails. Milk is loaded with lactic acid, natural alpha hydroxy acid(which gently exfoliates dead skin), and is high in calcium content(which strengthens fragile nails).
♥Eating raw garlic will help you break out less! Garlic is the most effective anti-biotic, anti-viral, anti-fungal herb known to man and not only helps with acne but also helps fight off viruses of any kind.

♥Sea Salt Foot Scrub:
~1 cup of sea salt
~1/4 of a cup of uncooked cornmeal
~1/4 of a cup of baby oil (or any oil of your choice)
Mix together all of the ingredients in a bowl. Clean your feet then rub on the mixture to your feet, scrub gently for a few minutes and rinse off.
♥If you want to prevent feathering when you are going for a red lip look use a liner before applying your lip stick, after applying your lip stick color conceal any mistakes made, then dab a very small amount of powder to your lips, blott your lips, and add gloss if desired.
♥Eye shadow lasts 12-18 months if it is creamy. If it is a powder eye shadow it can last for 2 years.
♥Moisturizing Tips:
~Whenever you are moisturizing your neck, rub up instead of down to not cause sagging.
~When applying moisturizer under your eyes, dab on the moisturizer instead of rubbing it in under the eyes.
~Wearing rubber gloves while cleaning dishes will keep your hands from drying out. Applying lotion on your hands before putting on the gloves will work magic. The hot water used to clean your dishes will enable the lotion to moisturize deep into your skin.
♥Lipstick has a shelf life of about 2-3 years. However if the color changes or if your lipstick gets a rancid smell, throw it out.
♥Invigorating Coffee Scrub:
~3 Tablespoons of coffee grounds
~1 Tablespoon of Salt (optional)
Brew a fresh pot of coffee then put grounds (and salt) in a small bowl and mix. Scrub mixture over entire body while in the shower, rinse, and moisturize.
Note: You must use the grounds within 20 minutes of brewing before oxidation occurs.
♥Salty deep pore cleanser:
~4 teaspoon of baking soda
~1 cup of mineral water
Steam your face then mix together the baking soda and 1 cup of hot mineral water. Apply to your face until your face is completely cover. Leave the mask on for about 10 minutes until it cools off. Lastly apply a face moisturizer. The mask is great for deep cleaning your pores and also helps remove dead skin cells.
♥Lemon Mint Elbow Bleach:
~1/2 cup of mint water
~1/2 of a lemon squeezed
To make this just get 1/2 cup of warm water, add some mint leaves, leave it for about 1-2 minutes, and strain the mint out of the water. Then mix in 1/2 of a squeezed lemon. Apply the liquid with some cotton pads to your elbows or knees, let it dry, reapply about 3-4 times, and do not rinse off. This works because the lemon juice naturally lightens and the mint is a soothing astringent.
♥Orange Scrub:
~1/2 of an orange
~4 tablespoons of cornmeal
To make this just squeeze half of an orange into a bowl and mix in the the cornmeal until in turns into a paste. Then apply onto clean skin, scrub gently for 2-3 minutes, and rinse off. This may be used on your face or body.
♥To whiten the tips of your nails just put hydrogen peroxide in a small dish, soak your finger nails for about 1 minute, and rinse your hands.
♥Natural Eye Makeup Remover:
~1 tablespoon of castor oil
~1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
Mix well, put some on a cotton ball or tissue, smooth over eyes, wait about 1 minute, wipe off, and rinse your face.
♥5 Natural Ways To Make Deodorant:
~Deodorant #1:
Make a mixture of half natural apple cider vinegar and half water then put on wet or dry skin. Don't worry the vinegar smell will not last.
~Deodorant #2:
Rub strong black tea on wet or dry skin.
~Deodorant #3:
Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a teaspoon of cornstarch and put on damp skin.
~Deodorant #4:
Rub a sage leaf onto wet or dry skin.
~Deodorant #5:
Squeeze a lemon and apply the juice onto wet or dry skin.
♥Natural Age Spot Lightener:
Get natural apple cider vinegar and lemon juice and mix together an equal amount of both. Then apply but do not rinse off. This will help reduce the appearance of age spots.
♥Natural Pimple Remover:
Dab milk of magnesia onto your pimple before bedtime. Leaving it on overnight will allow enough time for your pimple to dry out. By the morning your pimple will be dried out and almost gone or completely gone.
♥To make your hair dye last longer do not shampoo your hair until a day after dying it. Don't shampoo to rinse the hair dye out, just rinse out with water and use conditioner.
♥Natural Facial Cleanser:
~1 1/2 teaspoons of lemon juice
~1/2 cup of plain yogurt
~1 tablespoon of olive oil or coconut oil
Mix well, rub all over your face, then rinse off.
♥All hair eventually will develop split ends if it is not cared for correctly. Hair stylists recommend getting a trim every 6-8 weeks, this way your ends don't have a chance to dry out and split. Keeping the tips of your hair trimmed and conditioned will protect your hair from split ends.
♥For silky smooth feet just slather on some lotion
or vaseline then put on some socks on your feet before bedtime. This will really allow the moisture to soak in and if you do this a few times a week your feet will be smoother then ever.
♥To make your own detangler spray just use 1 part conditioner and 10 parts water and shake it up in a spray bottle container.
♥For a natural way to exfoliate your skin try using sea salt. It will remove dead skin cells like a breeze. Just wet your face (or anywhere on the body), apply a couple of tablespoons of sea salt, and gently massage with a wet washcloth or your hands. Scrub for about 1-2 minutes then rinse with cold water to tighten the pores. Doing this regularly will allow you face creams to penetrate better. I suggest doing this no more then once per week.

Oranges are great because they are packed with lots of vitamin c and are skin savers, the fruits main vitamin stimulates collagen synthesis which protects you from getting wrinkles. Bananas are also a very great food, they will leave your skin feeling moisturized. Aside from all the great benifits of this mask it smells great too!
♥Annoyed by dark circles under your eyes? Well
then you will love this trick. Slice up a cucumber
then place a slice over each eye and leave on your eyes for 10-15 minutes. Cucumber is greatly known for its soothing, cooling and lightening properties, which is why this trick works so well.
♥The Mayan Hair Mask:
Some ancient mayan and aztec wome used this mask because they found that avocados feed your body from the inside to the outside.
~Mix together: 1/2 of a ripe avocado, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1/2 of a small banana, and 1 egg yolk.
~Gently massage into your hair.
~Leave on for 1 hour then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
This will make your hair soft, smooth, and hydrated.
♥If you have oily skin try a tomato face mask. just mash up a ripe tomato and leave on for 15-20 minutes then rinse off with warm water.
♥Lip pencils can last about 3 years, due to the wood and wax. don't forget to sharpen and cover your lip pencils between uses. This will help your pencils stay clean rather then full of nasty bacteria.
♥To achieve a subtle result with fragrance try
spraying the air in front of you with you favorite fragrance then walk into it. This with give you a nice light scent and will not be overpowering.
♥To keep your lips looking healthy you must wear lip balm whenever you are not wearing lip color. For removal of dry skin on your lips, gently brush your lips with a soft wet toothbrush. I suggest doing this before going to sleep at night at least once a week.

1 ~ Cleanse your face.
2 ~ Steam your face by grabbing a face cloth and wetting it with warm water. Then have it against your face for 1-2 minutes.
3 ~ After that make a quick and easy natural mask. Get about a 3/4 of a cup of plain yogurt and a 1/2 of a cup of flax seed meal and mix together. Then scrub on your face for about 2-3 minutes. This will get all of your dead skin cells off.
4 ~ Rinse off your face. Then steam your face again by repeating step#2, the steam helps open your pores so the products will penetrate into your skin better.
5 ~ Make another quick face mask by getting 1/2 of a cup of brewers yeast and a little water to make it into a paste. Spread it thinly over your face and leave it on until dry. This helps to eliminate oils, stimulate your skin cells, and helps kill bacteria. This is really great to do if you are breaking out.
6 ~ After the brewers yeast mask is dry steam your face again by following step#2.
7 ~ Apply a mashed avocado to your face by rubbing it into your skin. Leave on for one minute and then wash it off. This will moisturize your skin nicely.
8 ~ Lastly apply your regular moisturizer and your face will not only look great but feel great too.
Tip~If you have really dry skin skip step#5. However if you have a lot of breakouts on your face skip step#7.
♥Moisturizing your skin is a must. Even oily skin needs to be moisturized daily. Moisturizing your skin can make you look healthy and radiant. Dry skin however can add years, so be sure to moisturize daily. If you have oily skin the best moisturizer to use is either oil free or the water based types.
♥Lip gloss will only keep for up to 18 months due to the chemical composition. Also due to the constant dipping of the lip gloss wand it is more prone to harbor bacteria.
♥A fragrance can last up to 3 years before the fragrance oil starts to deteriorate. To have your fragrances last the longest store them away from direct sunlight and make sure they will not be submitted to temperature extremes. Two great places for storing your fragrances are either in a box in your closet or in your medicine cabinet.
♥How to go from night to morning makeup:
I think we have all heard how to go from day to night. But haven't we all stayed up at least a few times until morning with some friends?! Well here are some tricks to help you look fresh faced after being up all night. If you don't have time to wash your face simply get a couple oil blotting sheets and blott away that extra shine from your face. Then touch up with concealer those tired eyes and anything you think needs it. Dust some makeup powder over your face and get a nice daytime eyeshadow and apply some mascara and wallah you have gone from a night to day makeup look in a matter of minutes.
♥If you have green eyes using purple, pink, light beige, brown, or light green eyeshadows will make your eyes look amazing and pop.
♥If you have blue eyes to make your eye color really pop and look amazing try brownish orange, taupe, gray, violet, purple, dark blue, silver, brown and rose eyeshadows.
♥If you have brown eyes consider yourself lucky. Brown eyes look great and pop with really any color eyeshadow. Bronze, blue, lavender, copper, pink, coral, gold, green, and grey eyeshadows are some of the colors I think look the best on brown eyed women.
♥Women with hazel eyes look great in neutral color eyeshadows. I think gold, brown, pink, lavender, plum, mocha, beige, teal and purple eyeshadows look great on hazel eyed women. Blue hued eyeshadows should not be used in excessive amounts on this eye color however, it can make ones eyes dull.
♥To have smudge proof eyeliner get a long lasting eyeliner formula, I suggest waterproof eyeliner. Apply your liner by making dashes rather then trying to make one line. I find this is not only easier to do but it really enables you to have your eyeliner as thin or thick as you want. To finish the look simply set your eyeliner with a similar shade of eyeshadow by just applying a little dusting over the liner. It isn't absolutely necessary to add eyeshadow but it will definitely make your liner smudge proof all day long.
♥To heighten your cheekbones smile while you apply your blush to the apples (fullest part) of your cheeks. Then brush a powdered bronzer or darker shade of blush below the cheekbones. Finish with a swipe of shimmery highlighter on the top portion of your cheekbones. It is very important to go light and subtle when you are applying otherwise you will look striped rather then stunning.

salmon and trout help keep your skin smooth. The oils they provide your skin with will moisturize and reduce inflammation, which often causes redness, acne, and rough skin.

To revive tired, dull skin make an egg-white mask. Just crack open an egg in a bowl, separate the yolk, and use the egg whites to make the face mask. The protein in eggs help to heal and restore your skin's moisture. Leave it on for five minutes, then rinse off.

You can also use an eye shadow primer before applying eyeshadow, this will help to make eyeshadow creaseless and last longer.
♥Organic Oatmeal & Baking Soda Dry Shampoo:
1 cup of ground oatmeal
1 cup of baking soda
Combine ingredients, massage into the oiliest parts of your hair and let the powder absorb the oil. For dark hair add 1/2 cup of cocoa powder. Be sure to brush and shake out your hair to remove the mixture.
